A Wing East Diaries

My husband said I should start a blog about books. He said that all the time people ask me what they should read next. He's right. They do. I love talking about books.

I also post on Facebook intermittently. I snap a photo of a book when I'm done and then offer a sentence or two about it. They've been getting longer. Friends have asked me to hyperlink some of my posts to articles, documentaries, films, videos and podcasts. I'm on it. In addition I'll add some of my sentence and passage studies too, for us writing teachers.

Here's my rating system:

• Two snaps: My highest approval and distinct enjoyment. Like those cool hippies who snap their fingers in the coffee house instead of clapping after a poetry reading.
• One snap: It wasn't a waste of time, but it fell short somewhere.
• Oh Snap!: For the ones I really didn't like.
